Expert First Aid Training for Schools, Colleges and Nurseries
Keep your staff, students and visitors safe with our accredited RQF first aid qualifications.
Learn the skills you need to look after those in your care
Working in a Pre-School, Nursery, School, College or University, you're likely to have more responsibility for those in your care than staff in most other workplaces. You'll fill lots of roles including teacher, administrator, coach, colleague, supervisor as well as often being a stand-in parent.
And from time to time you're bound to find yourself as the first-on-scene to an injury or illness of one of your pupils, or even one of your colleagues. At that moment you'll want to know that you have the skills and confidence to to act correctly and quickly, whatever the situation.
We've put together a series of the most important courses which will provide you and your staff with those skills. Each course is taught by one of our friendly, professional tutors, who make the courses enjoyable and memorable for all involved. So much so that when candidates are due for their renewals up to 3 years later, they regularly ask for the same trainer by name.
And by working with a top, regulated first aid training provider like HTS Training, you know you're getting the skills you need, whatever your role.
Choosing the Right Course
Our regulated (RQF) First Aid and specialist medical courses provide you with the skills you need to cope with the situations that you're likely to face. Select one of the course titles below to find out more details:
If you work in a nursery, prep school, lower school or primary, then you'll have staff who are responsible for looking after infants and children under 8 years old. And to do so, they'll need to be Paediatric First Aid qualified. This Ofqual-recognised course provides the skills they need.
The 1, 2 and 3-day RQF Workplace first aid courses are suitable for looking after and treating your older pupils as well as your staff and visitors. There's a 1/2-day annual update which can be used to top up skills and learn about regulation changes too.
From time to time, you'll have pupils in your care with a wide range of medical conditions - some short term, some long; some common, some complex. This course covers legal, administrative and medical issues and gives you practical skills to help you to manage those situations safely.
Being aware of the causes and symptoms of allergies is crucial in being able to treat them. This course gives you the understanding you need to recognise and treat highly time-sensitive anaphylactic shock.
With mental health issues on the increase, it's important that workplaces and managers understand the types, signs and causes of mental health problems. These three adult-focused courses provide different levels of understanding as you start to address these complex issues.

Some Comments from our Customers
Gave Me Confidence
Gave me confidence to be able to use the work equipment if needed
Lots of Hands-on Activities
An excellent course with lots of hands-on activities to embed the course content. Felt at the end much more confident to deliver emergency first aid (even though I'd completed many 1st aid courses before).
It was a brilliant course - learnt a lot and feel much more confident than I did before
